About Meghan

I empower, educate, and counsel people to heal themselves.  The foundation for my healing programs is in Ayurveda and therefore has a heavy emphasis on diet and lifestyle as medicine.  In Ayurveda, anything can be medicine and anything can be poison.  I believe the path of healing is synonymous with the path of self-awareness.  Our journey together is a dance in exploring the vast inner landscapes of your inner world and how it relates to the outer world.

Bio & Qualifications

  • I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University.  It was in that time, studying as a Pre-Med student that I was diagnosed with various allergies and auto-immune disorders including eczema, psoriasis, endometriosis and possible onset of Fibromyalgia or Multiple Sclerosis suspected due to experienced seizures during my senior year.  I was experiencing a variety of symptoms that were not being solved by allopathic treatments and was being passed from one specialist to the next with inconclusive diagnoses.

  • It was then that I decided (mostly out of necessity) to postpone attending medical school and learn how to heal myself.  I spent that summer of 2012 in a work-study program at The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in New York where I was exposed to a variety of complementary and alternative healing practices.  I completed a variety of courses here including Cell Level Healing with Dr. Joyce Hawkes, Energy Medicine with Donna Eden, and Visionary Art with Alex and Allyson Grey.

  • In 2013 I became a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance after completing a 230-hr yoga teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, North Carolina under Stephanie Keach.  After spending 2 years teaching yoga in Colorado and Idaho, I decided to take my studies abroad.

  •  In 2015, I traveled to Las Piramides Meditation Center at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala to study meditation, western occultism, hermeticism, western herbalism, lucid dreaming and tarot.  I returned here in 2016 for 6 months in preparation for a 40-day silent retreat and deep dive into tarot and lucid dreaming.

  •  In 2017, I traveled to India to study Ayurveda – the ancient healing system of India with Mata Amritanandamayi in Kerala.  I also began studying Iyengar yoga with HS Arun at Prashant Yogashraya in Bangalore and Ashish Sharma in Rishikesh.  I also completed a Naada Yoga – healing through sound and vedic mantra course at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in 2018.

  • In 2019, I became a NAMA certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor after studying at the nation’s premier school for Ayurveda – The Ayurvedic Institute – under the wisdom of Dr. Vasant Lad, BAMS MASc.

  • In 2021, I graduate with a Master’s of Science in Health & Wellness Management and Leadership with a certification in Coaching from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

After nearly a decade of traveling the world studying different traditional healing practices from various ancient cultures, I have reversed my auto-immune disorders and the majority of health imbalances and am here to teach you how to do the same. I have found that healing yourself requires self-awareness and therefore the path of self-healing and self-awareness go hand in hand.  True healing is undoubtedly a spiritual process of self-discovery and realization.  Healing is the practice of aligning body, mind, and spirit and is as unique to the individual as a fingerprint or a soul.

Anything can be medicine and anything can be poison, I am here to elicit your own motivations and intuition as to what is medicine for you, helping you achieve your health goals and your human potential.  I use food, water, exercise, meditation, breath work, essential oils, routine, affirmations, tarot, herbs, music, and MORE as medicine.  It is with the utmost humility, respect, gratitude, and love that I am able to share the journey towards health, wellness, and wholeness with you.
